The Carlow County Enterprise Board recognises that in order to offer a fully comprehensive range of supports to small businesses, provision must be made to cater for specialist and customised support to meet client needs. In this regard, the County Enterprise Board will make available the following forms of Technical Assistance:
- E-Business / E-Commerce Support Scheme : This scheme will make provision for financial assistance up to €2,000 or 50% of the overall cost (whichever is the lesser) for the design and development of web sites by qualifying companies which include e-commerce & interactive solutions.
- Trade / Fair Exhibition Support Scheme: This scheme will make provision for financial assistance, up to €2,000 or 50% of the actual cost (whichever is the lesser) of providing the stand. In a limited number of cases attendance at Trade Fairs will be considered for support.
- Marketing Development Support Scheme: This scheme will make provision for financial assistance, up to €2,000 or 50% (whichever is the lesser) of the actual cost in the development or re-development of a company/product brand.
General Regulations for all Technical Assistance Grants:
- No grant payments may be made retrospectively.
- A current Tax Clearance Certificate is required.
- The project must be completed in 2010.
- The application for assistance must clearly identify:
- Business Development Potential
- Job Creation Potential
