South East-based companies will have an exciting opportunity to explore new business opportunities, develop contacts and establish relationships when a number of Northern Irish companies will make a trade visit to the South East in October 2008.  MicroTrade is a networking initiative designed to help small businesses build contacts and markets across the island of Ireland. The programme is delivered by a three-way partnership comprising the County & City Enterprise Boards, Enterprise Northern Ireland and InterTradeIreland. MicroTrade, working with the South-East Enterprise Boards (Waterford City, Waterford County, Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, South Tipperary), & South-East Business & Innovation Centre, will facilitate a trade mission to Waterford City & Carlow aimed at helping micro-enterprises from Northern Ireland to explore opportunities and meet with companies in the South-East.

The Trade visit will form part of South-East Enterprise Week in October 2008.    Companies from Northern Ireland who will be making the trip to the South East are from a wide variety of business sectors, including process & material handling, construction, marketing, IT, environmental, structural fiberglass, transport, glass, training, textile, party supplies and food vending.  South East BIC is organizing meetings between the visiting companies and companies based throughout the South East.  If you would like to find out more information or would like to express an interest in meeting visiting companies, please contact us
