Enterprise Bus September tour
The Enterprise Bus, a national initiative of the County & City Enterprise Boards, in conjunction with Bank of Ireland, visited various locations throughout County Carlow last week. “The goal of this project is to raise awareness of the services provided to the start-up and small business, which include training, mentoring, enterprise clinics, networking events and financial assistance” said Michael Kelly, CEO of Carlow County Enterprise Board (CCEB)

The Bus visited several towns during the week and had previously visited other County Carlow locations in the early summer. The sign outside “Welcome on Board” invited anyone with a query about starting or running a business to talk to staff member of CCEB or Bank of Ireland. “90% of people have thought of starting a business at one time or another so this was an opportunity to find out about the resources available to them, especially in the areas of funding, mentoring, and drawing up a business plan. Like many of our clients who call to Enterprise House, in Carlow, many want to discuss an idea with a confidential and impartial advisor” continued Michael.
