Student Enterprise Programme
The Carlow County Enterprise Board Student Enterprise Programme is an initiative that gives students the opportunity to set up and run their own business or learn about aspects of running their own business. Carlow CEB also has a student concept competition that runs annually which helps students engage in the creation of business idea's for the future. Examples of the 2009 finalists can be seen here
Network of Enterprising Women (NEW)
Carlow County Enterprise Board Network of Enterprising Women is a unique and dedicated positive action programme with the primary objective of fostering and encouraging entrepreneurship, self-employment and enterprise among women in County Carlow by building a network for like minded women to promote their businesses at regular infromal networking events.
National Enterprise Awards
The National Enterprise Awards were established in 1997 in recognition of the contribution of small businesses to the Irish economy. The awards are organised by the County & City Enterprise Boards with each nominating a county winner, based on innovation, profitability and employment growth.
